Essam El Hadary is not keen on staying
at FC Sion. He requested not to play in the last match
that Sion lost which resulted in him getting boed by
fans in yesterday's match versus Vaduz.
FC Sion's controversial chairman Constantine
is still leading the team as a coach, a thing that Hadaray
felt hard to digest and so, the Egyptian is consideiring
his options.
Despite this, and according to the player's
official page, Hadary will remain the number one goalkeeper
at FC Sion till the next transfer window.
While there were some contradicting reports which claimed
that Constantine is not happy with Hadary's current
form and so he will end up dropping him from selection
if he didn't improve in training, the manager said later
that he will be backing Hadary and he criticized the
behavior of club fans as well. This change in Constantine
mind came after Hadary's impressive display against
Vaduz as he made some important key saves to keep his
side in the lead and help them achieve a rare win.
It should be noted that Monterubbio gave
Sion a 2-0 lead before Rivaldo clawed a goal back for
the guests. However, a 3rd goal for Sion in the 89th
minute via Saborio ensured the win for Sion.
